A giraffe in the natural reserve of Waza in Cameroon
Situated at 120 km of Maroua and at 140 km of kousseri the park of Waza is the most famous and most spectacular of Cameroon even of French-speaking Africa. Created in 1934 it covers a 170.000 hectare surface. Realm of the lion, it also contains elephants, hyenas, ostrichs, herons, pelicans, jabirus, ibis, etc.
