| Bénoué National park is situated in the North Province of Cameroon in the northern Guinea savanna belt. It covers 180,000 hectares and it features a wide frontage to the Bénoué River. Inhabitants include lion, giraffe, hyena, panther, Nile crocodile, giant eland, antelope, gazelle, several hippopotamus colonies and elephants and buffalo herds. |
