| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Travelling through the Bahr el Gazal (the bed of an ancient river running to lake Chad, now disappeared), I spotted this fennec from far away. Since my camera at the time only had limited zoom capabilities I was forced to go nearer to the poor animal: apperently he wasn't scared too much though, since he stood there just refusing to believe that a beast as strange as I was looking could conceive to cross HIS path in HIS territory. |

This is a nice image, Dario. I like the tones here, which show the sunny environment of this fox. It might also work to put him off center to indicate his environment even further. Nice work.
