Slide taken with a Nikon F3 some 25 years ago in the high plateaus of the Katanga province,
Scanned with Nikon Coolscan 4000ED, result is pretty good and that is what I should do with a few thousands of my slides !!!
Gloriosa superba is a bulbous climber, supporting itself by means of tendrils produced at the tips of the leaves
Rich orange/red flowers are borne in mid summer, during the raining season.
The plant desappears completely during the dry season |

Hi Albert.
Your flower and plant are looked so fresh despite the old date of shooting -:.)))
Excellent clean and rich colours, perfect DOF and details of the flower and leaves, nice POV and composition of the shot. My kind regards and TFS.
Alexei.
Hello Albert! Wonderful flowers. Excellent colors. Good light and sharp. Very good background. Nice capture. Well done!
Hello Albert,
Very nice slide image from the faithful F3. Excellent colors and sharpness even after 25 long years. You experience in this field must be enormous and thanks for sharing this with us.
Regards,
Jusni
