What have we done with the Nile...
Polluted Nile river somewhere near Luxor and Squacco Heron Ardeola ralloides sitting on a piece of wood among the rubbish. Rather sad view, isn't it? |

Michal,
As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. I am sure not too many people want to look at such pictures but lets face it - it is the reality in some parts of the world. Your picture really brings the message home. Great work (even though it is not an eye-pleasing shot) TFS.
I should also add that next time anyone thinks of throwing stuff onto the grass or the river or anywhere else for that matter - think because this is the ultimate result. Sad.
Best Regards,
Martin
Hello Michal.
Thank you for that picture, thank you to call us back to our responsibilities. Sure, it is not an "eyes catching" picture ; but, unfortunately, in too many parts of the world, it is the reality ; and this reality is very easily avoidable : very often it is only a question of a personal and individual comportment.
Thank you for the sharing.
See you soon on treknature for other pictures.
All the best.
Philippe.
