A very nice shot of a Black-headed Batis in a fine pose and taken from a good POV with excellent clarity, the yellow eye being well shown. Nice composition with the blue sky and we are priviledged to be shown this unusual species from your archives!

Een mooie opname,niet eenvoudig dit kleine vogeltje waarschijnlijk op afstand goed op de plaat te zetten,maar de details en scherpte zijn prima,ikzelf in januarie wederom richting krugerpark,dus heb weer iets om naar vooruit te kijken,

I'm glad you pulled this shot out of your archives because I have not seen a Batis before. I love the pose on the diagonal branch and the way his head is cocked. That yellow eye is wonderful. A beautiful setting and blue sky.
