I saw this hornbill in a forest in Gambia. It was sitting on a small branch just in front of a giant palmleaf.
I had to scan the negative, so the photo is not very sharp.
Nevertheless, I hope you like the pic.

Hello Zeno, Great POV and pose here. Great details, DOF and sharpness. I think the giant palmleaf adds a great BG effect. I like it, Well done!

I looks like a day for hornbills, Zeno! The contrast between these one and the one I posted is remarkable. I like how you captured the entire bird in this pose. He looks as if he looking over his shoulder at you :-) Very nicely done!
