Vaak gezien deze vissers, maar nooit zo bijna en dan nog wel met vis. Prachtige foto in scherp licht, maar goede belichting. Daardoor komen de kleuren goed uit. Schitterende achtergrond.Ook de scherpte is top. Uitstekende timing en compositie.

Splendid image of this kingfisher with lots of detail to appreciate. A well focused photo with nice light effects. I like the way of the pose showing its profile and the back of the plumage. To me, this kingfisher is very slender but very majestic. I like the brilliance in its eye and the visibility of its tongue. That fish in its beak is a bonus adding speciality to this splendidly framed and delightful photo. Thanks for sharing.
