what a wonderful pair of south crowned cranes you got here.And that too in action.Love the details on them, colours and the envronment they have been captured in.The green around provides total contrast to their grey dominated bodies.

Wonderful postures of both birds. It looks like one is keeping an eye on you while the other is searching for a meal. Details and clarity in this photo are amazing. I've played with that lens a while back and loved it sharpness and size.

What beauty, Paul.
I have seen these cranes in zoos.
Of course they are very pretty, wherever they are,
but I have to say that seeing them in their natural habitat is a totally different thing.
Beautiful light and colors and sharp details.
I love their parallel poses.
