This herd of elephants was drinking and covering themselves with mud from the almost dry river bed that runs through Samburu Park. If one looks carefully, just over the back of the elephant on the far left of the picture one can see a crocodile moving downstream - out of the way of the elephants.

good one mike..the old pachy's dominate this region and i love just to watch their animal society and family traits
