Hello Dan!
This is a perfect documentary picture! You very really lucky to see these 5 so close to each other :) I can not help you with ID (I believe that Peter [PeterZ] will be able :>).
The DOF is not perfect this time, but the most important is the composition and the special moment as for me :>
Greetings,
Radomir

cool catch. its nice to see them in their natural behavior. and its nice that 4 of them are looking at the opposite direction compare to the bird in front :)

Hello Dan,
An excellent capture of a row of Little Bee-eaters (Merops pusillus, ssp cyanosticus) taken with good sharpness, lighting and colours in this almost frame-filling image.
With this as an inspiration perhaps you can start taking more shots like this with your own lens!
Thanks and regards,
Ivan

Hello Dan,
What a marvelous photo! Five in a row. Ivan is correct about the ID, the Little Bee-eater. Nice sharpness, colours and POV. Excellent composition.

Peter
