Differs from Olive Bee-eater by having a green, not brown crown, a blue forehead, eyebrow stripe and cheeks, yellow throat and rusty upper breast. Habitat : Floofplains and adjacent broad-leafed woodland. Common but localized summer visitor to the north and north east. Call : A liquid "prrruo" and "prrreo"
