This was taken in the Masai Mara in Kenya.
Even though the cheetah was quite close to the jeep where I was in, I decided to put on the zoom lens on my camera. When I looked looked up the cheetah was giving me his 'death stare'. All the time we were staring at each other, I felt like the cheetah was deciding whether or not he was going to try to have me for lunch. Gives me the shivers everytime I think about it! |

Hello, Tish. That IS a close-up on a cheetah... and he IS telling you to keep off. You captured his steely stare very well. A nice pose on this beautiful animal too... very regal. The picture seems a bit dark, so I made a little workshop for you. Hope you don't mind. TFS. : )
