we visited a giraffe reserve where one could feed the giraffe..adult females and young.
across the road in a jungle compound lived the bull...he stayed there and only came to the reserve to mate. he was fed by a bucket of food..we got close and he is intimidating and very tall..the guide motioned us to retire as he finished his feed as he may have butted us.
they are lovely creatures and the national animal of tanzania. |
