A much paler bird than the Redbilled Oxpecker and easily identified by its bright yellow bill with the red tip; and pale lower back and rump. Imm. has a brown, not black bill and is much paler than the imm. Redbilled Oxpecker. Habitat : Thornveld and broad-leafed woodland, often near water. Frequently found in association with the bBuffalo, Rhino and Hippo. Locally common in the North.
