WIKIPEDIA: Les caméléons (Chamaeleonidae ou Caméléonidés) forment une famille de reptiles qui vivent principalement en Afrique et dans les îles alentours ainsi qu'au sud de l'Europe et au Moyen Orient.
Ce sont des animaux qui se caractérisent par la mobilité indépendante de leurs yeux, leur langue propulsable qui leur permet d'attraper leurs proies à distance, les doigts groupés en deux blocs opposables assurant une bonne prise sur les branches, et leur capacité à changer de couleur.

In fact animals are characterized by mobility independent of their eyes, their language propulsable which allows them to catch their remote preys, fingers grouped in two opposable blocks ensuring a good catch on the branches, and their capacity to change color. |

This is really beautiful, and wonderfully captured. The details of the scales, patterns and markings photographed with great clarity and displays well on the screen. I just love the way it is peeping at you. I have not seen a chameleon in real for such a long time, and I wonder why, because as kids we use to see them very often. Thanks for sharing.
