What an honour to be your neighbour on the Gallery today, James!
I am alarmed to hear about your accident. Hope you are not seriously hurt. The lens would be repaired, I am sure. Please be careful.
This stunning picture you took so many years ago leaves me speechless with wonder. What a fantastic creation of nature!
The landscape seen through the half arch looks beautiful.
Great authentic colours and fantastic depth of view.
TFS and take care.

Hi James,
awesome...i love this, this is the powers of nature displayed at their most aesthetic! Perfectly framed to show the overhang against the blue sky so it doesn't get lost in the surrounding rocks and very good detail and colour from your scanning.
Hope you're not too badly hurt by the way!

Hello James,
First and foremost I wish you a speedy recovery from your fall, I always say, they can build new equipment but bodies are a different story. I have found myself that as I age healing comes more slowly. Now this image is superb, I can see why it caught your eye. Wonderful textures and colorsin this excellent composition. Thanks for sharing this with us and heal fast my friend.

Hi James
Well seen and very good capture of this strange rock formation, I was their last year but did not see that one!

PS: I feel sorry for the damage on your 300mm lense the attachment ring will most probably have to be replaced but you should also have the lense's attachment on your camera body checked ? any slight damage might create a misalignment!

Hi James,
I'm glad neither your nor your camera were seriously injured. This is an amzing looking rock formation. To me it looks like the wing of some prehistoric animal. Wonderful rich colors. The pov is superb showing off the scenery behind it.

Hello James,
A nice scanned image of a geological curiosity that is an interesting substitute for what you might otherwise have delighted us with had it not been from your accident. The wave shape is well depicted in fine lighting and with excellent sharpness.
I hope you are recovering well and the lens is easily repairable.

Hello James
I sincerely hope that you are feeling better as the day goes by. Thank you for all your help and advice.
I feel bad that my card was full and you didnt get any pictures at all...but in a way i am glad because I get to see this perfectly titled piece of work that I probably wouldnt have.
I can see why you found this frozen wave so interesting..Its a marvelous piece of geology and you have placed it in the frame perfectly..The hills in the BG almost look like a tongue coming from a mouth.

Hi James.
Excellent title for amazing nature objects and perfectly done picture. Only I suppose that this rock reminds the jaws of fossil predator. Terrific DOF and exactness of details. Amazing lights and colours. Brilliant POV and composition. Bravo, in a word.

Interesting notes.
I like this composition! The colour is remarkable and it resembles the head of a sabre toothed tiger! You have used a great pov by displaying the rest of the shot through the open mouth!
Hope you are feeling better now!
