Le koudous est une grande antilope facilement reconnaissable à son pelage particulier de couleur marron clair à grise avec d'étroites lignes verticales sur les côtés et la croupe. Les mâles arborent de magnifiques et longues cornes torsadées. Plus elles sont longues plus l'animal est vieux. Très agiles, les koudous peuvent franchir des obstacles de 2.5 mètres de haut et préfèrent fuir en cas de danger plutôt que de combattre.
The kudos is large an easily recognizable antelope with its particular peeling of color clear chestnut to gray with narrow vertical lines on the sides and the croup. The males raise the splendid ones and long twisted horns. More they are long more the animal is old. Very nimble, the kudos can cross some 2.5 height meters obstacles and prefer to flee in the event of danger rather than to fight. |
