Back in Rehoboth....
with a EOS 350D plus a wide angle (EFs 10-22mm) with a circular polarizer. The photo is also quite a crop.
This is captured during a 4x4 selfdrive; a gamedrive close to the resort.

The name Rehoboth? Rehoboth (Hebrew: רְחוֹבוֹת‎, Reḥovot; lit. broad places) is the name of three Biblical places...

In the former upload we also saw the term Basters..
The Basters (also known as Baasters, Rehobothers or Rehoboth Basters) are the descendants of liaisons between the Cape Colony Dutch and indigenous African women. They largely live in Namibia and are similar to Coloured or Griqua people in South Africa.

The name Baster is derived from the Dutch word for ‘bastar.d’(. due to reserved word...) (or ‘crossbreed'). While some people consider this term pejorative, the Basters proudly use the term as an indication of their history in the same way as the Métis or "New People" of Canada.

Hi Annick. The colours in this landscape are so rich with the deep blue sky and white clouds. It looks as if the light is just catching parts of the far mountains. a very nice compostion. well done TFS.

Hello Annick !
I like this kind of pictures, it's simple, but this very simplicity makes it so beautiful. I love the splendid composition, the POV, and I also like this gorgeous blue sky, and the beautiful white clouds. Very well done !
Valerie.

Hallo Annick,
De polarisatiefilter heeft hier wonderen verrricht. Wat een perfecte diepe kleuren. De platte onderkant van de wolken is fascinerend. Nooit gezien. Erg goede compositie keuze.
Groet,
Peter

Hi Annick,
Magnificent landscape.Effect of polarizer filter is beautiful.Exposure,POV,colors and framing are great.Very well done!
Thanks for posting.

hello Annick

Very nice blue sky as if it is saturated by polarizer and really in good contrast with patch of white clouds and the landscape.

In this case, your vertical format enhances the sky's beauty. A good choice.

tfs, bill

Great!

Ciao Annick, splendid landscape with fantastic colors, great composition, very well done, Happy Holidays to you, ciao Silvio

Hi Annick,
wild desert - deserted - nobody to see!
And this fantastic cloud, almost looking unreal, it's wonderful. A strange contrast, I like it very much, thanks.
I wish you wonderful Christmasdays and all the best for 2009. Which country will be visited then? I'm going to Thailand again in April.
Bye and greetings
