I really like the Namibian palette of colors in your recent posts. Is this one of those truly ancient trees? I like the cropped view of it and the sharpness against the lovely OOF background. Nice work... again.

Hi Annick.
Superb composition created by the most impressive old dry tree. Its shapes are amazing as well as details and sharpness. Esthetic effect is strengthened by amazing BG which colouration and blurriness are ultimate. Lights and shadows of the image and farming are wonderful too. Well done and kind wishes.
Alexei.

Hi Annick!
Your series about Namibia is impressive. The pictures are not only beautiful, but also technically perfect like this one. Here, in addition, you have created a great artistic effect and impact. The trunk acts as a statue or a sculpture. Moreover, the colours are superb.
Kind regards
Markus

Hello Annick,
This twisted tree looks very impresive. The sharp image shows the fine pattern of the wood. You have had a fine light and have made good use of it rendering strong, saturated colors. There is a fine contrast between the wood and the light colored background.
Thank you for sharing,
Cristian

I don't see s bird...where's the bird Annick? ;}
The colors from the out of focus dunes makes a wonderful BG here..along with the grassy bottom.
The light & shadow across the dead tree gives a great 3D effect too.
Excellent image,
Howard
