Hallo Annick,
Voor mij de mooiste in de serie tot nu toe. Heb niet veel tijd. Zeg alleen: schitterend!
Groet,
Peter
Merhaba Annick,
I'm very much impressed with this fine portrait of a power emanating specimen. Its fur and whisker details are very good, those teeth frightening. Wouldn't like to be near one, I'm sure.
Cheers,
Mehmet

Hi Annick,
Did you try how sharp their tusks were???
An excellent close up of the seal face, so expressive.
A lot of fine details all over, and technically impeccable.
Great portrait and thanks for share it.
My best regards,
JM
Another excellent capture Annick.
Definitely a 'canine' appearance here ... and of course, they can bark like dogs too sometimes.
I often wonder why they 'yawn' like this so often. Is it perhaps intimidatory behaviour ?
I have a few more close up shots of ours too,so I'll post some more of those soon.
Cheers
Steve

Hello Annick,
Interesting notes and more than that... what a mouth..and set of canines ;)
Superb timing in capturing this excellent shot. The sharpness and details are quite Annick-like in quality.I like the overal tones of brown of the seal that blends in with the BG but yet keep the subject well in isolation and focus.
TFS & Cheers

Hi Annick,
An excellent portrait from the master himself full of details and behavior. Those canines must be a 2 inches in length :-)

Is this Seal yelling or yawning, Annick? :)
Very impressive action capture with super details even inside the mouth.
Your Africa trip has apparently been very fruitful.
Thanks.

Hi Annick,
Yes, they look and act similar - sharp teeth, whiskers, open mouths and little ears!!
Good shot of this fellow - he does look quite ferocious and I wouldn't want to get too close to him

Hi Annick
I see this seal saga is growing more and more :) Perhaps James Parker should join as well - having traveled so much and surely having many seal photos himself as well :)
This is another terrific portrait from you, my friend and one captured in the nick of time!
The pose of this brown fur seal is terrific here and indeed one can very well see those teeth...and i think it needs a dentist ;)
Really beautiful and dramatic shot, presented here with very high sharpness and gorgeous but natural colors.
Bravo and TFS

Annick, I am speechless. This is such a wonderful picture. Bit of a glint in the eye would have helped. But the baring of the teeth is so powerful. Love this picture.

Hello Annick,
This fellow needs a toothbrush. Outstanding work my friend, with great details in the dark fur and in that gaping mouth.
I like his tiny ear very much, Thanks Annick.

Great detail and attitude, which are both helped by the really tight framing. You can almost hear his cry!
