Another gorgeous portrait from you, my friend!
So which one was the most successful shooting trip: South-Africa or Namibia? Because i see so many amazing photos from both locations and i for one can't make my mind up :)
Anyway, this is a typical wild lion caught here - with some little fight marks showing well on his snout and being constantly on the lookout for what the women are doing :))
The impeccable details and shallow DOF are already a trademark for you and here i'd also like to remark on the very nice square composition and how well that works in this case.

Hi Annick.
Simply beautiful, majestic lion and so amazing portrait. You managed to reflect and share its internal world, state of mood. It is clear the quality of lion image reproduction is the highest (it is your feature) but I am impressed with nice surroundings. A bit blurred green twigs in front of the animal and smooth nicely coloured BG decorate the portrait excellently. My best wishes and thanks for this work of art.

Hi Annick. The look on the male Lions face sayes it all. I can stare longer than you. This is a fantastic side view of this bold looking animal. Which you have taken with fine detail in its fur aand eyes. all with interesting notes. well done TFS.

That distant expression in the eyes says why he is the king of the animal kingdom.
A portrait worth hanging on a wall in the largest possible size.
