Mangusta Striata

Mustelide molto comune in Namibia vive in gruppi familiari di 20 e + individui che cooperano nell'allevamento dei piccoli e nella ricerca del cibo.
Come nei suricati (stessa famiglia) qualche individuo è sempre di vedetta per individuare eventuali pericoli o predatori quali ghepardi, leopardi, sciacalli e soprattutto aquile e falchi.
Questo individuo è stato fotografato all'interno di un campeggio nell'Etosha National Park.

A banded mongoose. I have only seen this critter in the wild once. Nice sharp capture. Maybe a little more light on the subject. Well done.
