The face of a thief, no doubt. This looks like a female of one of our weaver species, but I wouls not dare a guess, as The Gambia is on my wishlist and All I know is that it is birdwatching heaven in Africa. Very nice, clean post, keep them comming.

Pieter, the first thing that grabs my attention here is the wild eye of the bird. A strong and powerful facial expression.

The point of view couldn't be better. Sharpness is excellent, as well as depth of field.

I missed this one Pieter. It's a very nice shot. The composition is very strong. There seems to be some detail lacking in the feathers - did you use a noise reducing filter? They can have that effect. Lovely focus on the eye, very well done.
