LION - No You Kinding ME - thought it was a puddy tat!!

Sorry if I am boring you all with these posts, but I thought that this was a classis pose worth sharing. I specifically cropped the paws - yes I know! - as I wanted to bring the head more full frame as opposed to the last post of right in it!

I welcome all your thoughts and crits and thanks for all the previous visits - hope I am doing some justice to this wonderful site!!

RAW, converted, levels and white balance slightly changed, added a little contrast, smart sharpen, crop, resize and post

The Lion King in a majestic pose! You have done well to focus attention on its face. Your caption describes the expression aptly.

Great capture, Tim, I love the lion's teeth. My, what big teeth you have, dear! I would have increased the saturation a bit because the lion looks washed out. Well done!

Tim, I like this a lot.

Excellent sharpness, pose and composition.

These shots don't bother us - keep on bringing them.

Hi Tim,
They are excellent shots, never boring, and always enjoyed. I like the tight crop to bring the head with that big mane full frame.{pretty neat how I said that) My suggestion would be to crop out the legs all the way. If you cut them partially off, just crop even tighter and do not even show them. The limbs in the upper left distract, but you probably had no other choice. The exposure and detail are superb.

Yes Tim I think you are doing some justice to this wonderful site!! Great shot of the lion, but I think you should have gone in and cut back the branches in front of his face first!!
He's supervising his harem from the looks of it, well captured expression, good colours too. Well shown, TFS.

Hello Tim,
I like your POV and your subject is very sharp and detailed. I might've cropped further, if your intent was a portrait. I did a quick WS. Well done!

Hi Tim,
it's a nice picture of this bored Lion.
I like the crop and the compostion. Good POV and details.
Very well done.

Very nice close up, great pose. Wonderful POV which brings the attention to the facial features. A wonderful composed photo.
