Wonderfull capture Gerhard. I really love this attitude whatever it is aggression or fun I do not know. Excellent sharpness and colours and composition.
I have seen quite a lot of films with baboons on Animal Planet and National Geographic and they seem to be totally fearless. I have even seen them try to scare away wild dogs, hyenas and cheetas to get their prey.

The streght of this shot is brutal!
The subject is fantastic, the moment great, and the rusty perch with the spine wire add a a lot of dramatism to the shot. Great details and good lighting. As always, a pleasure to enjoy your work. I would love to see this with my own eyes.

Impressive shot, Gerhard. The pose is interesting and as usual the composition, sharpness, detail and colour are outstanding. The post and barbed wire bring harshness and an unwelcoming feel to the scene, as if warning us that this baboon is no teddy bear. Your camera buddy is right not to stick around too close or too long.

This is a great shot Gerhard, I wish I had got a baboon nearly as good as this. Excellent pose and composition and the exposure is spot on. Lovely detailed shot. Very well done.
