I guess this is the olive thrush - turdus olivaceus.
please correct me if I am wrong.
very common in the gardens and lawns of the suburbia where I live. most of the time seen picking some worms etc from the grass. loves mulberry fruit. got this shot accidently while focusing on some birds perched on neighbour's mulberry tree.

Nice picture, sharply focused and perfectly exposed. You kept an excellent control on the shadow details. And the blured BG is not disturbing at all.
Great work and TFS

Hi Paul,
Perfect focus on the bird.
You made a good job on this one because of the hard time to make the bird be visible with this dark BG.
Super !!!

Excellent details and sharpness, great composition and great colours. Fantastic work! Well done, Paul.

Hi Paul

Lovely tones in this shot, just a wee bit dark. Good focus and nicely composed. Thanks.

Hi Paul,

This is very sharp but a bit low key. Pam's WS fixed it. Well done.

Paul, through the thumbnail, I thought the shot was rather dark - but, in my opinion, it is not.

Excellent sharpness, details upon the feathers and composition. I like pov and composition too.

Congratulations.
