The Marabou stork has many characteristics similar to Vultures. It's main food source is also carrion similar to vultures. It is not an attractive bird but has a definite presence and cannot be ignored when one is close to it.

That is a humungous beak, Deon. I have never seen one with such intense colors on the head. Great capture with sharp details and great POV. A good moment with his beak open. TFS. : )
