The new babies has you excited I can tell. I can also see why. it's a great pose and POV. Very sharp and the colors looks good. Great shot Callie.

I tried some PP in a WS to see if I get some light onto the shadows. Please let me know what you think.

Wow, Callie. You caught this egret in blooming breeding plumage, huh? The rust color on his head and chest are very visible. Fantastic POV with the wings spread out, which you caught with excellent focus. I also really like the light. A beautiful picture altogether. TFS. : )

Callie, that's a stunning shot - and you have the same new toy as me! I agree with Gerhardt that it would benefit from brightening up a bit - but your exposure to ensure the detail in the whites was spot on.

Beautiful pose! Excellent timing on this capture for a great composition!
Are those leeches hard to remove after they attach?
The Nikon D200 is a prime candidate on my new camera radar. I'm not sure when I'll take the plunge; hopefully before this year is out... If I could only choose one lens to start, which would you recommend?
This pic is a real treat to view!

This shot is excellent! Great job on the timing to get this pose. Very subtle colors in this soft light. I think Gerhard's workshop does bring out some more detail in the plumage. A real beauty!

Really great posture for this bird. Along the clarity and good composition of the picture (which is usual in your shots), I like the most the lighting and the mood it gives.
