| Impala and friend the oxpecker. Oxpeckers are known to obtain insects and ticks from impala.Impala is a medium sized african antelope.Name is derived from the zulu language. It is found in the savannas and thick bushveld in Kenya,Tanzania,Mozambique,Namibia,Botswana,Zambia,Angola,and parts of Uganda.It is approximately 75 Kg, reddish brown in colourwith lighter flanks and white underbellies. |

Interesting Moment you captured. Technically, not your best shot, but good effort. the crop is a bit too tight, leave some room on the top, don't crop to the ears. It difficult taking photo against the light. Try goind around and look for better location and light. I know sometime you can really help it in the wild. Big smile for the effort any

you cut the ears, and there is a white dull,
for this dull, some more contrast (a lot) and then less saturation, could improve the shot

Hello again Erwin, I like that moment too and the nice light shining on the impala. What an beautiful animal with those big ears and white hair here and there. The animal is so candid and seems so used to the presence of the expecker. Thank you!!!
