Hallo Erwin.
I really like kingfishers and they are on my wish list.
This could have been a great shot but I think you have cropped
it a lot and then try to sharpen little much, a lot of traces in the BG and we can see a halo around the sharp edges like the beak.
The pose and composition are pretty good and the colours too.

Hi Erwin,
this is an adorable specie that I have never seen before. Though it is a bit noisy, I still like and appreciate it very much. I realised that capturing a birb is not an easy task.
This one is so lively with its black and white contrast, furthermore with the fish in the mouth it is such a moment well captured,
Congratulations I like this natural shot with the constraint that we may face.
