[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Many big game farms in the Lowveld (430 km NE from Johannesburg, South Africa) open their vulture restaurants to the public. On my last visit some carcasse had just been "served". Interestingly, the first birds appearing were Marabou Storks and NOT vultures, as one would expext...
"Marabou Storks... often seen at a lion kill, where it towers above the squabbling vultures, driving them off with jabs of its powerful bill..."

In the top left of the picture vultures are just arriving - and I shall upload tomorrow a photo of their aggregation.

Hallo Ingrid
Great shot of this "Vulture restaurant" without the Vultures but filled with Marabou's. Each individual bird pose, position and facial expression is very fascinating to look at, especially the one's with their opened wings. These birds surely have an impressive wingspan. Thanks for sharing this interesting gathering. Best regards.
Anna

Hello Ingrid !
THese birds are not exactly beautiful, but I'm sure they are quite impressive when you see them in real - even more so when you see so many together ! The vultures on your picture seem completely lost among them. You have captured a great moment, with much talent - pin sharp details, excellent composition and POV, nice natural colors. Very well done !
Valérie.

Hi Ingrid,
Excellent natural document of this big bird. TFS
Best Regards. Ferran

Hi Ingrid,

The subject is well framed. The point of view is showing the activitie of the Marabou Storks at the Vulture restaurant. The light is giving a good contrast to the colors. Have a nice day.

Pierre
