In Kruger Park I saw many ground hornbill. This one was sitting in a tree and I hadn't seen that before.
There was a big hole in the tree and it couls be that this bird was nestling here but I'm not sure.
The call of this bird is a loud booming "oomph oomph" given early in the morning. |
