Congrats on achieving #700. Extraordinary contribution from a humble beginning of asking “sorry” for not knowing the ID of a duck(26-5-2006), your first posting. Looking at the images you’ve presented here, they speak volumes. Most of the primate’s expressions are well documented. Not just big mammals and birds, you’ve captured butterflies too. Horn bills are some of the exclusives. List goes on. I request you to consider, compilation of an encyclopedia.

Here you’ve presented a Southern Yellow-billed Hornbill in natural setting .Details, color and POV are great. Being the 12th in your collection of Southern Yellow-billed Hornbill, you’ve highlighted their importance by opting to post as your #700th.

I guess Hornbills are one of your favourite birds.And this also comes as part of milestone...the 700th is a long way travelled and many congratulations.Your shots are a joy to watch and more tha anything there is a tremendous amout of learning material coming up with every post of yours that is helpful for novices like me .Keep it going ....

Fine PoV that shows the Hornbill in a very natural habitat.I like the way the criss- cross branches form the BG here.The eye is quite attractive and creates a good connect with the viewer immediately.Another post well done by a master photographer.
