After Loot's "Crocodiles Dying in Kruger", maybe it's time for some Kruger fun.

These are two female impalas and the inevitable Red-billed oxpecker. Probably I tried to capture the second female as it was completely in the image.
So through cropping I could have a good image of an Impala. In pp I did the opposite though, through cutting off this Impala's back while keeping the 1/2 to the right; to generate the illusion that she's running after her own rear.
Besides the funny part, you can spot very well the characteristic "M" marking on its rear and the
melas "black" pous "foot". The second word from its name. Aepyceros melampus. (Greek)

Hope you'll have some fun too.
Kind regards and a nice weekend!

Hola Annick.

Hi Annick,
This is an excellent capture with interesting notes and subjects :) What amazes me most in this picture is the omnipresence of this bird; the guy is always in the picture :)! Thanks!
Claudine

Very creative and humorous shot! Both technically and aesthetically well done. The bird seems like a curious observer.

Gee, even when you cut your pictures in half they still look good. Thanks for the fun..

Evelynn : )

Hallo Annick,
Erg mooi.
Groet,
Peter

Hello Annick,
There's that happy hitcher again..He does know how to pose for you nicely..How long did it take for you train em' so well BTW?
And some creative PS work..Humorous results, I can personally identify ;-}
Howard

Now this is a capture Annick. It is just superb. Very well done. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hi Annick,

After explanation, I understand the strange framing. The subject is sharp with good DOF.

Stunning details here and I like the composition - one running in and one running out of the frame suggests speed and motion
