Hi Annick,
You are very lucky one who gets to shoot these wild animals. I have to contain with butterflies, insects and dragon flies :(
Very well captured shot.I liked his head position so much. Look at his horns, nose and ears. Aahhhhh. Very goo.

Mahesh

Hello Annick,
Another great Antelope portrait! You made a fine capture of this Stenbock the frontal POV of the head giving it a fine expression. Stands out well (even though it is lying down!) against the OOF natural BG.
Thanks,
Ivan

Hallo Annick,
Hoe kon je zo dicht naderen! (400 mm lens) Over het algemeen zijn ze erg schuw. Prachtige opname weer met perfecte scherpte en laag standpunt.
Groet,
Peter

Hi Annick,
Excelent portrait of this small antilope, with fine details and sweet pose.
The antilopes were also in Kenya were they are called dik-dik. If I#m not wrong, this is even the smallest antilope at all. Their small horns were sold as souvenier, can you imagine!
Thanks for remembering me my childhood, I knew al the names of the antilopes, like the ones you showed. The impala, generuk, waterbuck, thomson gazelle, gnou...
Well done and TFS

Hey Annick,
Well I see another fine image from the Canon/Annick machine.
An excellent endeavor of course..
I'm doing a run through and checking my giant monitor, still have some bugs to work out..I see too many details here ;}

The face of this Steinbok looks quite funny and interesting, Annick.
There is a perfect symmetry in the alignment of ears and horns here.
Well done and TFS.

Hi Annick
I remember well your first photo of a Steenbok and i remember thinking the exact same thing as now: although this animal is cute and even delicate, i still think he looks like a little devil with those pointy horns and that patch on its nose :) (devil not in a bad way...more like the cartoon way...you know that red one sitting on one of your shoulders...the other one, not the little angel :))
Then again, this is a wonderful shot - with an excellent eye-contact and a very good use of the shallow DOF that your splendid lens offers.
Well exposed and composed, too.
Bravo and TFS

Hallo Annick
A well presented, well focused and very sharp image of this steenbok. This animal looks so relaxed and does not seem to be bothered by anything at all. I just love the big ears, the big eyes with its whiskers clearly visible. It has got such a lovely nose. Details are sharp with nothing out of place. I like the way the steenbok is facing you. Thanks for sharing. It was lovely to look at.
Kind regards
Anna

Hello Annick,
A fine pose from this attentive animal!
Super details and DOF carefully selected to cover what is imposrtant...
I notice the impressive ears, so I will guess this fellow has a hearing that is better than most!
Greetings,
Pablo -
Bonjour Annick
Antoine.
