I love these plovers. I have them by me too and they have had several generations on my property. I managed to capture a two day old chick and just love to have them around.

The image is not pin sharp, but I like the composition. I think his eye is so big because you stepped in some of the dung lying around in the background.

Nice shot Miq, I think the focus us a little soft and I would have preferred less space to the left of the bird and more to the right. However, it's a nice shot.

Miq, a very common bird? At least to a photographer it's good to have them around, no? Despite their noise all day long, I wish I could shoot them. (The "smileys" are not here.)
