I still can't believe you are taking these shots with a video cam. I am not sure but could also be a Grey threadtail (Ellatoneura glauca) Hope you get the ID though.

Very nice capture for a video cam Willie. I cann't help with the ID - it is not any of the Danish species. I think the colours are a little pale but it is easy to correct in Photo Shop. Apart from that a very nice capture.

Willie I would go with Gerhard's ident, do a quick search of the web for images with this name and see if they are simular to yours. It is certainly some form of what we call in europe a Damselfly.
from what mogens says about the camera used this is an amazing picture. looking forward to seeing your results.

First time I saw one of these Damselflies with the tail anchored to a plant like that, was she maybe laying eggs?..Well done Willie

Nice picture Willie especially with the camera that Mogens mentions. I can't help with the ID I'm afraid so let's hope Gerhard is on the money.
I htink she is laying eggs too, some damselflies lay their eggs in stems above the water line in ancipation that the water level will rise.

Willie, I do enjoy these cratures, and I had never seen one of them in such pose.
Maybe some noise, but nothing serious.
