Willie, I must say you have an "eye" for the shot! Good detail this close for your video-cam. It's a bit hot up-top as you probably well know. Does your equipment have any type of manual exposure adjustment?

Very nice capture. When you wake up and one of these are leaning over you, you know that your nap was too long.

I like this capture and in a strange way I actually like the overexposed bit in the corner.

Don't they give him enough food there in the bird park? Anyway he shouldn't be anoyed when people take pictures of him. after all this is what he gets payed for. In spite of all the trouble you managed to get a very good portrait of him. Nice shot.

Ever since I saw the thumbnail for the first time, I wanted to have a closer look. This is one very nice mugshot of the whiteback vulture, Willie. The eye is alive and the bill sharp & shiny.
The Cape Vulture has a light eye, the WB a dark eye. The Cape has two naked, blue skin spots on the "shoulderblades" lacking in the WB. This is my easoning in the ID, mainly the eye.

I guess he added meaning to "Ask before photographing!" didn't know you had to ask birds...nice note and shot of this aggressive bird.

Willie, I've been searching for a vulture shot for quite a long time. One of these days, I have gotten some, but I didn't like them.

This one is really great. Despite the difficulties, your effort was worthwhile.
