In fact the whole series of this lovely big cat is great.
Because of my absence I did'nt see rhese images before and must say that it's a real joy to take a look at them now.
Wonderful to se how the cat does seem to be relaxed by your precence and not scared at all.
Technically excellent with perfect DOF and clarity.

Another super fine picture from your amazing African collections. Your lighting, tones and DOF are always perfect.

I probably would not have chosen square aspecting for this presentation in order to avoid center framing.

A 1.25 or 1.5 aspect(whichever looks best) where you trim just the right side would work very well with this image and you would not lose anything important to the composition either.

One more a superb capture of a Leopard with the high technical standard that we are used to seeing from you. The POV and DOF are excellent. Personally I might have cropped a little more on the right but that is a small matter that is a matter of taste.

this is a very high quality shot, the composition and POV are great.
The sharpness and details are excellent and so are the DOF,
it's amazing you got almost the whole cat in focus at f2.8 and the BG is in nice blur.
Lovely colours and fine natural light.

Hi Annick,
Everyone loves the big cats..especially when they're captured so nicely :)
I wonder if it's your lens that lets you get this in so well @ F/2.8? I can't imagine shooting this with the 100-400mm at this aperture. So I would then have to believe that the photographer's focusing technique was extremely precise - Arghh! ;-}

Yes, Annick, it is my favorite cat and picture.
When I was a young boy I read a lot of books about big cats. One of them was book written by Joy Adamson. Since that time I love these charming animals.

Your shot is outstanding in every aspect but the main for me is reproduction of all beauty of the cheetah. Bravo, my friend. Superb work.

Hello Annick,
Wow! The 2.8 f setting worked out fantastic for this shot, you pretty much got all the feline in the image in focus. I read the note to Howard, at the angle you were I couldn't imagine a better setting than what you had it set at, and all thanks to the birdie. I dont think getting out of the car would be that great of an idea to get that low POV. Well done.
