[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a Waterbuck. It's a young male. The weather was rainy and cloudy.
Overnight restcamp was Olifants.
Jan Hendrik wrote they call a young male Impala with little horns a 'penkop' in Afrikaans. I suppose this must be a general term. So probably all young male antelopes with these little horns can be called 'penkops'?
I don't know whether there's an english term as well?
Jan Hendrik?:-)

Hi Annick,

Excellent detail in the close of this penkop. Each hair can be seen in full detail and there is almost a mournfull expression in the eye. Well done.

Hi Annick,

Great picture technically. I suppose penkop are used for all antelope that looks like this, but I've only heard it used for Impala. Well done again.
