[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today another capture from shingwedzi river,this time maybe not a close up,but a gathering of 26 yellow billed storks (Nimmersat in african),something I have never noticed before,so I thought this overview was worth showing on TN,hope you like it as well,picture is made during our afternoondrive from the carwindow using a beanbag as stabilization.

The Yellow-billed Stork, Mycteria ibis, is a large wading bird in the stork family Ciconiidae. It occurs Africa South of Sahara and in Madagascar. Its a medium-sized stork. Length: 97 cm; average body weight for males: 2.3 kg; for females: 1.9 kg. Plumage mainly pinkish-white with black wings and tail; bill yellow, blunt, and decurved at tip. Immature birds are greyish brown with dull greyish brown bill, dull orange face and brownish legs.

Hoi Paul,
je hebt wel de klasse om van een foto net weer iets bijzonders te maken. Naast dat je een groep bijzonder vogels laat zien, laat je ook een groot deel van het landschap zien. Iets wat ik zelf altijd erg mooi vind.
Ze waren met z'n allen wel lekker bezig om een sporen achter te laten zeg. Een mooie foto, met een perfect scherpte diepte.

Hi Paul. A fair flock of the Storks which all seem to be doing some feather cleaning. A good picture showing their natural suroundings. well done TFS. good notes too.
