African Wild Dog.

There was a whole pack of African Wild Dogs near a dead carcas. The male is a very attractive animal and I wanted to photograph one by itself. This one must have heard me and it seperated itself from the pack to come and look at me. Notice how the ears are pointing in different directions with the one pointing at me and the other in the direction of the other African Wild Dogs.

Good portrait of this African Painted Dog, Deon.
It is a rare capture of of this wild dog in such a great POV.
Such interesting markings on his fur. A beautiful animal.
Judging from the shiny parts in the grass and the dog's fur, the image might be a bit oversharpened. And too bad about the OE patch of grass in the background. Still a very good post. TFS. : )
