You have left to compete with me with the butterflies!!!.
And with an image as it is, It is evident that it justifies it.
As composition is almost perfect, by the coloration, the sharpness, DOF, and perspective... only perhaps I had tried a picture less square and centering... but I do not know the original one.

Very nice image, Callie. I like the contrast of the red bloom and the Bush Brown. Baie mooi werk!!
Wow! Great shot Callie! I like your Common Bush Brown.
How can you take a shot so clear at 1/60 handheld?
Do you have ciment arms? :-)

Callie, I think the level of this site is getting very high. For my modest opinion, this is one of the best compositions for a butterfly I have seen in TN. And the butterfly is beautiful. Thanks.

You are lucky, I have some points left and I will trade it for a Coke, anyone interested? This is a beautiful shot and I love the exposure. Usually we see these shots with the subject all lit up. In this shot the lighting is natural, yet the image is very clear.
Thanks for posting

How do you do to have this butterfly at the right place for shooting, have you a secret? It's a perfect composition, i love the way this butterfly is positionned on the flower, very good use of lines between flower and the bush brown. Amazing how luky you are, wish i had some of your luck. Of course after you have great skills so sharpness, DOF... are excellent. Excellent Photo! Thanks for sharing

Callie, This is grand comp. with great color & she's got curves to boot! (assuming it's a she!). You did well well considering it's hand-held @ 1/60 sec. I usually have trouble keeping it steady enough at that speed. Thanx for the notes on technique..Great photo!

Very good Callie.
The OS works nice to close-ups too.
1.8 m , I think you shoot this at 400 and you use 1/60 sec,
the stabiliser works very well.
Good composition , nice colours and good details.
Good note.
Very well done.

Love the colours of this Callie. The brown butterfly on the red flower really works well.

Firstly, the composition is very nice indeed, the colours of the flower really set off the brown butterfly and the details are excellent. Good note too...so that's pretty darn good.
The only bad thing is that I have run out of points, so you'll have to wait :-)

What a composition. Exellent work. The colours adds a nice contrast to grey moth. Just beautifull Callie. Thanx for sharing.
I have returned to this picture several times now trying to find the right superlatives but I have to give up - it is just perfect and the clever use of EV control works really good here. The colours are so beautiful and really set off by the dark background. The only thing to say - and it is really a minor thing - I might agree with Ricardo about the composition, a slight crop of the top to make a more rectangular shape would change the picture, but I am not quite sure. I tried to do it in PS but I am not so sure that I will post it.
I simply love this one - thanks for posting.

Oh the detail and complementary colors are fantastic. The overall diagonal lines make this a wonderful composition. Well done.
