[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here an upload of one of my favorite, the Rhino.
It was on the 17th of december, we were on our way to the Krugerpark. We wanted to visit the Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre, when we arrived there after a very difficult drive from Ohrigstad, bad weather and big stones on the way, we discovered that our luggage was not in the car. So I could not enjoy the tour of the centre, because I have had to make several phone calls. The manager of our lodge told me that he had put them in the wrong car. So he told me that he would bring the luggage to us. It should take one and a half hour at least.
So we went after the tour to our car and we wanted to go to the main road, but their the manager came with our luggage.
He appologised and then he went back again, and then we also went into the car because it was still a couple of hours driving, and then ........ this beauty came along, I was so astonished, happy I cannot describe it.
Conclusion: After rain the sunshine is coming.

Absolutely beautiful shot. The contrast between the rhino's gray tones and the surrounding green is perfect. Like a natural frame.

Hello Vivian,
Very nice side profile shot of this incredible looking rhino. I guessing that is the white rhino since it is grazing in the green grass instead of browsing like the black rhino with it's prehensile lip. TFS. :)

A nice capture of this probably white rhino and this you even saw outside the krugerpark,well captured wit nice natural colors and a fine BG,it was close as you only needeg 90mm,

Yes, I agree with you, this certainly is a beautiful animal. We South-Africans are fortunate to have such a variety of lovely animals in our parks, and especially Kruger Park. You have managed to capture this Rhino at a good and open spot. The green grass is a proof of all the rain we encountered when we where there in October 2007. Looking at the animal I can see evidence that it had a mud bath not so long ago. The mud clots still clinging to the skin and on its horn. A great close up of this massive animal. Thanks for sharing. I relived some wonderful memories of our holiday.

Simply excellent picture of the fine animal. I think it is outstanding. Great is all. First of all it is 3D-image effect. It is terrific. Transparency of the shot and clearness of the pleasant colours are superb. Composition of the shot is brilliant. My congratulations. Perfect job. Bravo.

This is a beauty!
I am amazed at how close you are to this lovely creature.
I guess the luggage was lost and found for a reason,so you could record this beast.
The focus is sharp and the detail and textures are wonderful.
