Another view of the one that was 6 metres away while I was on foot behind a game fence pole! Read the story on the other post.

RAW, converted, levels and balance, added velvia plugin, smart sharpen slightly, crop, resize and post.

Comments please. I will post another with a tight crop on the face for effect later. Cheers

Very nice portrait shot. Composition is very good for my eyes. Good sharpness and colors.
Straws in mouth add a lot.

Man! Those are some horns! Love the composition. I agree with Gert. It calls for more contrast. There is too much midtone and not enough contrast to make the picture "pop". It all looks a little wahed out and very easy to fix. I think that close shots of animals really need the eyes to make a statement. Here they are weak. I just tried it out. I guess one should practice what they preach! Sometimes edits are easier said than done : ) see workshop.

My reaction to this photo is amazement, that in this day and age, one can still view such creatures like this.

He looks to be a remnant from prehistoric times and his eyes say; that it has been a long journey...
