Picnic areas eh Annick...Like a Jay, it sounds as if it wants the scraps and isn't afraid of bothering anyone. Very tight in shot. Clear as a bell...and displays the feathers very nicely. Almost a side portrait posed.....well framed and so very well notated.

Well my friend I stared at this image for a while as something was bothering me and I could not place it and then the light went on, its plumage on its head looks more like hair then feathers. Wonderful pose caught with marvelous details and colors Annick. Thank you very much for bring this excellent closeup image to us.

Hi Annick,

Very interesting and good shot. Interesting becouse of the soft light you got in the photo rendering acuarately even the fine delicate color tones fron birds face, beak and plumage. Good becouse the image is obviously good having excelent DOF therefore showing sharp clear detaisl of birds anatomy.

It's quite a spectacular looking bird Annick. It reminds me of a comic character. Great portrait.
