[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a "Blou Sysie", Waxbill Blue. Well I think. Basically the are small and being small also very busy.

They chased some mossies around the place. I guess they go for the safety in numbers filosify. They would jump around on the grass near our campsite every morning.

The tricky bit was to get close enought with to get a decent shot in, 125mm is a bit restrictive when working with such small subject matter.

The funny thing about this bird is that it looks almost like a negative of European Robin :-) Nice natural shot. TFS :-)

The colors on that bird are amazing, Johan. I have never seen anything quite like it. I can appreciate how difficult it is for you to get that shot. Little busy birds are so hard to catch. You did a great job there. TFS. : )

Johan, although focus is a little soft, this is a nice shot.

Beautiful bird with interesting colour. I never seen a bird like this before. its cute :) Great work !

never seen this bird before. will be on top of my list. I like blue colors on birds. a bit soft which is understantable since the bird is so small it will be very difficult to focus. I know it very well from experience!
