Saw this Leopard taking it's kill from the night before, out of a tree. Early morning shot was difficult with the low lighting and camera shake from my long lens. I used D2X and 600mm f4. Shutter was 1/30th and Wide open.

An outstanding capture, Brad. Unbelievable! Such clarity of details, beautiful light, and fantastic POV. A shot of a lifetime!
I find the words on the picture distracting.
TFS this wonderful scene of life in the wild that few of us get to see with our own eyes. : )

Well it would be hard to top that shot. You can retire. You've reached the pinnacle! Not much evidence of camera shake. That crooked tree, the DOF, and the leopard's pose are perfection.

Magnificent! Love the "S" of the branch, the sharpness, the warm colours of sunset, the highlighting on the subject, and that's all not to mention what a spectacular subject it is! With a fresh kill in it's mouth non the less! There are a lot of photos that get idle praise on this site and this fantastic image is currently a 4 points after being posted for a day. This is how things work here. Definately one of the best images I have seen on this site!

Wow.

Champion shot Brad, I'm jealous with spots all over. :)

This image is outstanding! Wonderful composition with that twisted branch creating a visual pathway through the image. Excellent sharpness and exposure despite the difficult lighting situation.

Excellent capture,fabulous light and depth.

Simply awesome!
Your work rocks!
Thanks,
Dave

A wonderful photo, the glow of the morning sun is amazing on this leopard. I love how he seems to be looking right at you, daring you to try and take his meal. Wonderful shapes with the tree branches and the curve of his body, you did well with the low light. The focus looks great, excellent work.
