Hi Annick,

I just love the pose of this Hornbill! The look on his face is priceless. That's quite a bill and quite a tail. Wonderful natural colors and excellent details of the face, wings and plummage. A fantastic eye.

Hi Annick,

I was fascinated by Hornbills as teenager, partly a product of living at a Bird Zoo for a while and working there most weekends. This Southern Yellow-Bill is a beauty and you have managed to photograph him beautifully on at least 5 occasions, althouh I suspect you have more in your collection. Technically excellent and a lovely pose from the bird.

Very impressive hero. I like your picture very much, but the model is really wonderful. It can play a role of evildoer in a performance without any doubt.
I think this hornbill is the best among your hornbills

Magnífica presentación Annick.
Buenos detalles y original PoV.
Un cordial saludo, Jl.

Hi Annick,

Great pose of the Hornbill, I really like the way you've framed this image. Great details in the plumage with nice well saturated colours. Well done!

Annick,
Interesting looking bird, and you capture it at a good moment doing what birds do. Very good focus on the subjecct, natural color, good composition. Infromative notes.

I suppose it would take a bit of agility to keep a tail like that looking good. It is a very interesting capture. It was fortuitous that you were able to capture him isolated against a plain sky background. Great work.

Hi Annick.
Wonderful capture of this hornbill. When I first looked at the image I thought what a strange place to have tail feathers! then I realised he turned is head :) amazing what five day on an island will do, if I were any more relaxed I'd be comatose, anyway excellent detail well framed, all the best Cheers Rick :)

Very vivid colours of the animal. Well presented.
Best wishes,
Achim

Hi Annick,
Very unique pose. It is not simple, to care the delicate tail feathers, by this enormous bill.
Thank you for sharing.
Best regards,
Yedidia

Hallo Annick,
Bij picknickplaatsen in het Krugerpark struikel je soms over deze Toks (letterljk). Dit is wel een aparte opname, bezig met zijn toilet maken. Originele pose. Prachtig licht en mooie compositie.
Groet,
Peter

Hi Annick, splendid bird in great pose, great detail, superb sharpness and wonderful colors, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hello Annick,
Wonderful image of this less than handsome fellow trying to improve his looks, as always your camera work is impeccable. Great work my friend.
